Summary

Manitoba's wildfire perimeters for the 2025 fire season.

Description

This is the finalized fire perimeter dataset of Manitoba's known wildfires for the 2025 fire season. It compiles the best available fire perimeters and attribute data derived from year-end wildfire reports, satellite images, hotspots, NRCan wildfire burn-scar analysis and expertise analysis. Fire size is based on an area calculation of the polygons after removing water bodies and unburned forested area (calcarea attribute).
